With this course, the student will be able to identify the equipment used for river kayaking, and its correct use. The student will learn the basic movements in a river kayak (forward, backward, right and left), basic techniques for side support and master the eskimo roll technique.
This course consists of practical and
theory sessions. The two theory classes have a time of 2
hours each and are done in the classroom with audiovisual
help and a simulator. On the other hand, the three practical
classes are done in a swimming pool and also have a time
of 2 hours each.
