with the opportunity to learn the most versatile nautical sport
in the World: Kayaking. If you learn to kayak, tour or river,
you can explore unknown lakes, paddle along with dolphins and
sea lions, surf white capped waves, or go where you never thought you could
get to.

All our courses consist of both theory and practical classes.
The theory is done in a class room and includes talks along
with videos and books. The practical classes are done, depending
on the level of the course, on lakes, rivers and bays near
Santiago. For these classes, Kayak Australis will provide
all the equipment necessary: Neopren suits, lifejackets,
safety equipment, spray skirts, paddles and kayaks.
Our main concern is that the student learns the
techniques of paddling, rescue, safety, river morphology,
and expedition organization principles in an environment
that is safe and enjoyable.
