Martin
Although a software engineer, Martin prefers to spend his time doing outdoor sports such as sea kayaking, mountaineering, climbing, trekking and any other activities that put him in contact with nature. A graduate of the Escuela Nacional de Montaña (National Mountaineering School) in disciplines such as rock and ice climbing, Martin has spent a lot of time in the mountains before coming to the sea. Now with several years of kayaking and a graduate of NOLS in sea kayaking, and an ACA Level 4 Open Water Sea Kayak award, Martin is an instructor, guide and one of the founders of Kayak Australis. Other interests and certifications include Wilderness First Aid and RCP (NOLS), White Water Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International, Inc.), Tom Brown’s Tracker School, Coastal Sport Captain and Marine Band Radio Operator (Chilean Navy) .

Marisol
A native of Concepción, lover of nature and outdoor life, Marisol started doing adventure sports in the mountains years ago, to later dedicate herself to sea kayaking. A Chemical Pharmacist by profession, graduate of ENAM in mountain and rock climbing, and of NOLS in sea kayaking, she has also participated in rescue courses (Whitewater Rescue Technician Rescue 3 International), International Certification ACA 3 Coastal Kayak and first aid.

Giovanna
Living the majority of her life among the lakes, rivers and mountains in southern Chile, this journalist discovered kayaking years ago and with her boat has toured the lakes, fjords and rivers in Chile and Patagonia. A graduate of NOLS in Sea Kayaking, Giovanna is also certified in Wilderness First Aid and RCP (NOLS) and Whitewater Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International, Inc) and International Certification ACA 3 Coastal Kayak.

Rodrigo
Architect, fan of bikes and sea kayaking. Better known by his friends as Sergeant PTorm. Although not professionally engaged in the kayak, Rodrigo participates as an instructor in various courses and extensive sailing knowledge and experience on many cruises, represent a major contribution to our team of instruction. |

Mauricio
Engineer from Santiago, he started kayaking some years ago but he has been practicing mountain and water sports since age 13.
Lively and enthusiastic, he is always ready and happy to participate in any outdoor activity, joining us in our courses and trips, always supporting and sharing his knowlege and experience with friends and students. Certified in Wilderness First Aid and RCP (NOLS) and Whitewater Rescue Technician (Rescue 3 International, Inc) and International Certification ACA 3 Coastal Kayak.
He also enjoys photography and fly fishing.

Nanuq
Enthusiastic and "aperrada" Nanuq is responsible to accompany, monitor and give confidence to beginners as well as enthusiastic participants to share the activity with your best friend. His specialty is security showing great skill in the wet rescue and self rescue.
With an experience that began with his first trip down the river Lebu at 4 months old, has Nanuq kayak tour from Isla Damas to the Fjords of Pumalin. |
