Torres del Paine National Park
The National Park Torres del Paine is, without doubt, one of the most spectacular national parks in the country. A world biosphere reserve, it has a huge variety of plant and animal species which, with its incredibly beautiful setting has made it an almost unequalled destination for hikers and backpackers, ecology-lovers and adventure sportsmen alike. Snow-capped mountain peaks, cascading rivers and waterfalls, glaciers and mirrored lakes: in all respects Torres del Paine national park deserves its reputation.

If you want to transform your trip to Patagonia into a real adventure, we have an option for you. Would you like to arrive to the wall of an South’s Ice field Glacier? there are three days of paddling and two rivers to go through (Tyndall and Serrano river), and then take a Major Embarcation that will take us to Puerto Natales. A fantastic journey that will be registered in Photograph, to remain as a good memory for ever. We will see virgin landscapes, a variety of animals and vegetation, will approx to a glacier, and be able to feel more than ever the contact with the nature.

Kayak Australis Itinerary Itinerary

Day 1.

07:30: Departure in our vehicle from Puerto Natales to the sector of Serrano, located in Torres del Paine National Park (if you are already in the park, we will pick you up from an accorded point)
10:30: In the border of the Serrano River we will initiate the instruction for a safety and comfortable navigation. We will load the kayaks with the necessary equipment and with your luggage, if you have too much (more than a big bag per person) we’ll take it to Puerto Natales where it will remain safe in our offices until your arrival.
12:00: The adventure begins. We will paddle to the Serrano’s fall (a beautiful cascade), where after a short walk (200 metres approximately) and the carrying of the kayaks, we will avoid the waterfall.

* You have to take in consideration that from the beginning to the end of the kayak trip the itinerary can be modified, of course owing to the famous Patagonian wind.

15:00: We will leave the Serrano River to initiate the paddling through the Tyndall River against the current, for moments we will have to carry our kayaks because of the current and the low level of the river.
16:30: A beautiful lake will be the first reward for paddling through the Tyndall.
18:30: If the wind allows it, we would be able to paddle across the lake to a comfortable sand beach, your tiredness will be forgot when this place fulls you of satisfaction.

12:00: we initiate the return to the Tyndall River.
14:30: We will paddle in favor of the current through the Tyndall River. It will be the right moment to appreciate the beauty of the river, that maybe the because of the effort we haven’t seen.
15:20: Again paddling through the Serrano River.
17:00: We will settle our camp in a beautiful and safety place.
